WHAT IS KALASH BASH TX ?

Simply put, Kalash Bash TX is one of the LARGEST gatherings of Kalashnikov and firearm enthusiasts, collectors, competitors, spectators, and merchants in the United States, and it's held in the Great State of Texas! Our 2026 event expects to welcome over 1,000 spectators, competitors, and event staff from across the world for a full weekend adventure of fast-paced shooting competition, machine guns, silencers, airsoft, aerial gunnery, food trucks, and live music!

Now, it's important that you know... this is NOT a traditional gun show. That is by design; Kalash Bash TX has always been about the full-weekend festival experience. It's really up to YOU to decide how much of the KBTX adventure you are ready for.

Flying solo or coming with a large group to spectate and meet with vendors & demo new and exciting Kalash products and services? General Admission tickets give spectators full-weekend access to the Main Event activities. Our Live Fire Tent is where the top Kalash vendors in the industry showcase new firearms and products for you to demo and meet the teams behind the scenes. You will also find some vendors offering machine gun rentals for patrons looking to go full turbo. Lastly, save up your rupies because our Vendor Bazaar tent is packed full of the coolest boutique products, small and large companies, some well known and some new to the game.

Ready to test your skill behind the trigger? This year, shooters will have the option to register for an 8-Stage Kalash Rifle Competition and/or a 4-Stage Kalash SubGun Competition. The Kalash Competition is a fast-paced, yet fun match that both first timers and experienced competitors can enjoy. Spend your free time spectating and hanging out at the Main Event with the rest of our attendees and Kalash vendors. This ticket is our most popular and is guaranteed to sell out quickly. We will have close to 600 competitors this year...

Looking to add some after hours activity to your adventure? Add a Camp Kalashnikov camping pass and stay on-site for the entire weekend! Camp Kalashnikov has it all...luxury bathroom and shower trailers, food trucks, campfires, After Dark live entertainment, and plenty of time to hang out with the Kalash family.

When will KBTX26 tickets be available?

Kalash Bash TX 2026 tickets are scheduled to go LIVE to the public on Friday 11/7/25 at 9:00AM CST.

Which ticket should I purchase?
Each event guest is required to purchase (1) Attendance ticket, either General Admission or Kalash Competition.  Add-On tickets are optional but highly recommended to purchase early as they are also limited in quantities.

General Admission - Main Event

General Admission - Main Event Tickets will be available in Limited Quantities.  This ticket grants (1) attendee access to the Main Event (Saturday 4/11 or Sunday 4/12).   Main Event activities include Gold Sponsor Demo bays, Live Fire Demo tent, Vendor Bazaar tent, Airsoft 360 bay, After Dark live concert (Saturday 4/11), food trucks & facilities.

What FREE activities are included with the General Admission ticket?
- 20+ Live Fire Demo Vendors (vendors provide firearms and ammo for all KBTX attendees to demo).
- 8,000sq.ft. Vendor Bazaar tent to interact face to face with 50+ of the most innovative manufacturers, AK gunsmiths, and service providers in the industry.
- Airsoft 360 - Fun, interactive Airsoft challenge hosted by Evike/Highground Airsoft. (see details below)
- Spectate the 12 stages of Kalash Competition taking place throughout the event.
- After Dark Live Concert - Saturday 4/11 at 6PM, we will be hosting a live music after party at Camp Kalashnikov. (see details below)


Will there be food and facilities available on site?
We will have several food trucks on site over the weekend. We will also have A/C controlled luxury restroom trailers at the Main Event area, and A/C controlled luxury restroom trailers & shower trailers at the Camp Kalashnikov camping area. *NO ALCOHOL is permitted into the Main Event area of the venue*

What time does the Main Event gate Open & Close?
Main Event gate opens at 9:00AM and closes at 5:00PM, Saturday 4/11 and Sunday 4/12

What do I need to bring to gain access into the Main Event?
Upon entry into the venue, you will arrive at the Registration Check-In Tent (see map below). Our staff will verify your ID and event ticket and provide you with an electronic waiver to sign. Once verification is complete, our staff will issue you the appropriate event credentials and permit you into the Main Event.
Credentials must be worn at all times while on the event property. Kalash Bash TX is an 18+ adult event, children 16+ are permitted to attend if accompanied by an adult. Ear & Eye protection are required if you wish to participate at any of the live fire bays. This is an outdoor event, we recommend bringing sunblock, bug spray, and any weather specific attire.

Are pets or service dogs permitted into the venue?
Personal pets are NOT permitted into the venue. Service dogs are permitted and required to notify staff at Registration Check-In upon arriving to the venue.

Are utility vehicles, golf carts, or bikes permitted in the venue?
Utility vehicles, golf carts, and gas operated bikes are NOT permitted to be used by guests while on the venue property. Bicycles and wagons are permitted. We will permit the use of e-bikes with a few stipulations. E-bike operators must follow the same rules and etiquette of the road as full size vehicles, which includes but is not limited to: operating in a safe and respectful manner toward other vehicles and guests, staying on dedicated roads and in designated parking areas, respecting the posted speed limits, signaling when passing or turning, and following instructions from the range RSO. The venue reserves the right to deny any e-bike rider the option to operate their bike on venue property.

What if it rains during the event?
Kalash Bash TX is a rain or shine event. Weather can be unpredictable, especially here in Texas. We do not offer any guarantee on what type of weather will occur during the event, but we are proactive in that we secure several large festival tents for vendors and attendees to stay out of any rain that may occur. We recommend attendees utilize local weather forecasting and prepare accordingly. Please see the Refund/Cancellation Policy for information regarding refunds or event cancellation.

Can I bring my own firearms and/or ammo to the event?
If you are competing in the Kalash Competition match, you ARE permitted to bring your own competition firearm and ammunition.  All competition firearms must remain unloaded, mag out, with a chamber flag until instructed by one of the stage RSOs to make ready.  Spectators ARE NOT permitted to bring their own competition firearms or ammo into the Main Event. Concealed Carry is welcomed for all attendees, spectators, and staff.
*Chamber flags will be available at the Check-In Registration table if needed.

How much does it cost to demo vendor provided firearms/ammo?
In most cases, vendors will not charge to demo products or firearms at the Live Fire Bays. We expect over 300,000 rounds of ammo to be sent down range by attendees during the event. Some vendors will have Machine Gun Rentals or specialty firearms on site that are offered as a customer pay per shoot opportunity.

Will there be products available to purchase at the event?
Yes. Many of our vendors at the Vendor Bazaar tent that will have products available at special event pricing (while supplies last). We recommend having several forms of payment available for on-site purchases.

When can I purchase the Official Kalash Bash TX 2026 T-Shirt?
This year, the Official KBTX26 Event T-Shirt will be available to purchase 1.) as a pre-paid add-on with your event ticket purchase or 2.) on-site at the Third Pin booth located at the Vendor Bazaar. Please note that the Official KBTX26 event shirts will be available on-site in limited quantities, so we recommend either pre-paying or visiting the Third Pin booth early in the event weekend. Attendees that pre-pay for their KBTX26 event shirts will pick them up at the Registration Check-In booth at arrival.


Kalash Competition

Kalash Competition tickets will be available in Limited Quantities.  This ticket grants (1) attendee full weekend access to the Main Event and (1) entry into the Kalash Competition.  Match Competitors have the option to purchase a ticket for the day(s) they would like to compete in the match: either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Match Competitors that place in the top of their division are eligible to win prizes during the final Kalash Competition Award Ceremony on Sunday 4/12.  All Kalash RIFLE Competition tickets include (1) FREE KBTX26 Event T-Shirt.

Do I also need to purchase a General Admission ticket?
No. All Kalash Competition tickets include General Admission access to the Main Event. However, any guests in your party that are NOT competing in the Kalash Competition must purchase a General Admission ticket.

When do I register for the match, select my division, and select a shooting squad?
First step, is to purchase your Kalash Competition ticket here on the website. After that step is complete, all communications regarding your match participation will come from Practiscore to the email used when you purchased your tickets. You will receive (2) separate emails from Practiscore inviting you to:
1.) COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION.   In this step, you simply need to confirm your name & email, select your shooting Division, and select any applicable Categories.  
2.) SELECT A SHOOTING SQUAD.  In this step, you will select which shooting squad you wish to join.  There will be 8 shooting squads per day to choose from.  **PLEASE NOTE** Each shooting squad has a limited amount of shooters before it is filled and locked.  We do not guarantee or reserve group squads, they will fill up on a first come first serve basis.  If you are in a group and would like to shoot together, you will need to coordinate together to complete your Registration on time, and Select your Squad as soon as it opens.

When is the deadline to select my squad and division in Practiscore?
The deadline to make changes to your division and select a shooting squad is Wednesday 4/1/26 (Kalash RIFLE Competition and Kalash SUBGUN Competition). After that date, any pending shooters will be assigned a squad from the remaining available positions.

What is the round count and what distance will we shoot out to?  Any ammo restrictions?
Estimated Round Count: 275 Clean (RIFLE), 200 Clean (SNIPER), 150 Clean (SUBGUN)
Max Distance: 200 yards (RIFLE & SNIPER), 30 yards (SUBGUN)
Steel core is not allowed, (ex. 7n6, chicom import, etc.) as it poses a hazard to other shooters and potential damage to targets. Bi-metal, steel cased is acceptable (ex. Tulammo, Wolf, Monarch, Bear, Barnaul, Red Army Standard, Golden Tiger, Yugo M67, and similar).

Are full auto, select-fire, forced-reset triggers, binary triggers, bump stocks, or super safeties permitted into the Kalash Competition?
We will permit the use of full auto, select fire, FRT triggers, binary triggers, and super safeties in the Kalash Competition.  Bump stocks are NOT permitted.  When Registration opens in Practiscore, shooters in this group will need to select the "full auto" category along with their division.

Can I shoot the match twice or in multiple divisions?
This year, the Kalash Competition will be split into 2 separate matches and tickets: Kalash Rifle and Kalash SubGun. The Kalash Rifle Competition is an 8-Stage, full day match hosted by AKX, The AK Experience. Shooters will have the option to shoot the full 8-Stage Kalash Rifle Competition on either Friday 4/10, Saturday 4/11, or Sunday 4/12. The Kalash SubGun Competition is a separate 4-Stage, half day AM/PM match hosted by AKX, The AK Experience. Shooters will have the option to shoot the half day match on either Friday 4/10, Saturday 4/11, or Sunday 4/12. Each competition ticket is good for (1) match and can compete in only (1) division that day. Shooters can purchase multiple Kalash Competition tickets if they wish to compete more than one day (for example, you can purchase both a Friday Kalash SubGun Competition and a Saturday Kalash Rifle Competition if you wish to compete both of those days).


What time does the match start and end on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?
Gates will open at 7:00AM all 3 days for Match Competitors to arrive and complete their Registration Check-In before the match begins. The Kalash Rifle Competition schedule is an ALL DAY format, beginning at 8:00AM sharp, taking a lunch break at 12:00PM, and resuming at 1:00PM until approximately 5:00PM. The Kalash SubGun Competition is a half day format with the AM squads starting at 8:00AM, and the PM squads starting at 1:00PM. Roll Call will take place 30 minutes prior to match start.

Will I have time to zero my rifle before the match begins?
No. You should plan to arrive to the match fully prepared to begin your stages on time. There will be no range availability for competitors to zero or test fire their firearms before the match.

This is my first match. What do I need to bring to compete?
Klayco47 has a great series on YouTube that covers the basics of Competition shooting. We highly recommend first time competitors check his videos out.

What to Expect at a Shooting Competition

Can I Conceal/Open Carry my handgun during the match?
To prevent any safety violations, Match Competitors will NOT be permitted to conceal or open carry handguns while on deck or shooting the match stages. CCWs can be left holstered with your gear until you have completed your shooting portion of the stage.

Is Early Arrival & Registration available for Match Competitors?
Early Arrival & Registration will be open on Thursday 4/9 between 1:00PM and 5:00PM for FRIDAY Match Competitors & Campers.
Early Arrival & Registration will be open on Friday 4/10 between 1:00PM and 5:00PM for SATURDAY & SUNDAY Match Competitors & Campers.
*Please note, the gates to the venue will close at 6:00PM sharp Thursday and Friday evening.  No new guests will be permitted into the venue until the following day.  Please plan your trips accordingly if you are planning  for Early Arrival & Registration.  Campers must check out from the campgrounds by 9:00PM Sunday 4/12.


Am I eligible to win prizes at the Kalash Competition Award Ceremony?
This year we estimate to be giving away over $100,000 in vendor contributed products and firearms to event attendees. Prizes are allocated to the Kalash Competition podium winners, some are allocated to volunteers & staff, and the rest are given away to attendees in the form of challenges or drawings at the After Dark Spirit Awards Ceremony. The After Dark Spirit Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday 4/11 at 6:00PM at the After Dark stage area at Camp Kalashnikov. The Kalash Competition Award Ceremony will be held on Sunday 4/12 at 6:00PM at the Vendor Bazaar/clubhouse area. None of the vendor contributed products or firearms are kept by event hosts or producers, they all end up in the hands of volunteers and paid attendees. Please note, this is not a raffle. Your event ticket purchase does not guarantee any prize or implied odds of being a prize winner.

Camp Kalashnikov

Camp Kalashnikov tickets are available in limited quantities.  This ticket grants (1) Kalash Competition or General Admission ticket holder full weekend and overnight access to the campground.  These are not available as stand-alone tickets.  Each camper is required to have their own Camp Kalashnikov ticket along with either a Kalash Competition or General Admission ticket.

What is Tent Camping?
Tent Camping means that you are setting up a tent in the designated Tent Camping area. Please note that vehicles will not be permitted in the designated Tent Camping Area, however parking will be in close proximity within the campground. (see map below)

What is Overland Camping?
Overland Camping means that you are either camping inside of your vehicle or that your tent structure is an apparatus of the vehicle, usually inside of the cabin/bed, or on the roof. Parking/camping in this section will be limited to vehicles only, no tents or canopies on the ground. Parking your vehicle under a 10x10 pop-up canopy does NOT qualify as Overland Camping.

What if it rains during the event?
Kalash Bash TX is a rain or shine event. Weather can be unpredictable, especially here in Texas. We do not offer any guarantee on what type of weather will occur during the event. In the event of heavy rains, campground parking will remain accessible for campers to stay dry in their vehicles if they wish. Are attendees permitted to participate at Camp Kalashnikov without a purchased Camping Pass?
We will be hosting Kalash Bash TX After Dark on Saturday night 4/11 for all event attendees, Kalash Competition and General Admission. There will be a designated area for the After Dark attendees to enjoy the Live Music, Food Trucks, and Fire Pit. Out of respect for the campers and at the direction of the venue, Camp Parking and the Camping Area will only be accessible to attendees that purchased a camping pass and are in possession of the appropriate camp credentials. The campground serves as lodging over the entire 3-day weekend and we want to respect the space and camp experience for those who paid for the opportunity to camp on site.

What is the policy regarding firearm handling at the campground?
The campground will have a strict ZERO firearm handling policy for the entirety of the event period. All firearms are required to be unloaded, chamber flagged, and secured in a rifle case or secured from public access. This applies to all firearms including non-firing display guns, prop guns, competition, and personal firearms. Concealed Carry is welcome for all attendees and staff that are NOT consuming alcohol at the campground.

Is Early Arrival & Registration available for General Admission campers?
Early Arrival & Registration will be open on Friday 4/10 between 1:00PM and 5:00PM for GENERAL ADMISSION campers. Campers MUST arrive to the Registration Check-In booth by 5:00PM if you plan to arrive for Early Arrival & Registration. If you are shooting the Kalash Competition, please see the "Kalash Competition" FAQ above for instructions about Early Arrival & Registration for Kalash Competitors.*Please note, the gates to the venue will close at 6:00PM sharp Friday evening.  No new guests will be permitted into the venue until the following day.  Please plan your trips accordingly if you are planning  for Early Arrival & Registration.  Campers must check out from the campgrounds by 9:00PM Sunday 4/12.

Will there be food and facilities available at the campground?
We will have A/C controlled restrooms and a luxury shower trailer on site over the entire weekend, along with full time staff to upkeep and clean. Campers are encouraged to bring their own food and water and are permitted to safely maintain a BBQ Grill or above-ground fire pit at their camp site. **NO ground fires permitted in the Camping Area**. We are expecting several food trucks on site during the Main Event and at Camp Kalashnikov on Saturday 4/11 during After Dark.

Is there electricity at the campground?
The campground does NOT have any available electrical outlets for charging your personal items. We recommend bringing a car charger or portable power supply. Inverter generators are permitted, but must be turned off at lights out.

Is parking available for RVs?
There are a limited number of RV Passes available in the ticket options, they generally sell out pretty quick. These tickets are for the RV only, each camper is required to also purchase a Camp Kalashnikov ticket. RVs will have a dedicated parking area in close proximity to the main campground and will include electric & water service.

Is parking available for Campers?
When you arrive to Kalash Bash TX, you must first drive to the Registration/Check-In booth to sign your liability waivers and receive your event credentials, including Camp Kalashnikov Passes & Parking Passes. From there, you will drive and park your vehicle at Camp Kalashnikov. When you arrive to the campgrounds, the layout will be separated into 3 sections.
-- Parking is where you will park if you are setting up a tent or camp structure in the Tent Camping area.
-- Overland Camping is where you will park/camp if you are Overland Camping.
-- Tent Camping is the largest area for campers that are setting up tents or structures over the weekend. Vehicles are not permitted inside of the Tent Camping Area, except to unload and must remain off the grass.

Kalash Bash TX After Dark is a FREE experience for all Kalash Competition and General Admission attendees.

Kalash Bash TX After Dark, featuring live music from (TBA). We have spared no expense to roll out a professional stage, audio & lighting, and production crew to bring our vision of a true festival experience to you. The best part is that this is a FREE concert for all Kalash Bash TX attendees, whether you are staying at the campground or lodging offsite. Gates will remain open until 9PM for our non-campers to return for the After Dark experience. After 9PM, the gates will be EXIT ONLY. Please note, that all vehicles & attendees re-entering the venue after 5PM will be required to have their event credentials on their person.

Helicopter Aerial Gunnery

Helicopter Aerial Gunnery tickets are available in limited quantities. These are not available as stand-alone tickets. Each shooter is required to have their own Kalash Competition or General Admission ticket.

Location: Camp Kalashnikov (between After Dark stage and Camp Parking)

Details:
Hop on board our helicopter for an awesome adventure shooting steel targets from the air! Each flight will consist of multiple passes down our gunnery stage where you will engage an array of steel targets. Attendees will receive a brief aircraft orientation and firearms overview, followed by a safety orientation and operations procedure before taking flight.

Do I need to bring firearms or ammo to this attraction?
No, 50 rounds of ammo and rifles are provided by Heligunner.

What time slots are available to participate in the Helicopter Aerial Gunnery activity?
Time slots for this activity are available on a first come first serve basis. We highly recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of the event to guarantee a specific time slot. Available time slots will be split into Friday PM, Saturday AM, Saturday PM, Sunday AM, and Sunday PM.

No, everything you need to participate in this attraction is provided by Evike Outpost and High Ground Airsoft.

What time slots are available to participate in the Airsoft 360 activity?
Time slots are wide open and available on a first come, first serve basis. Attendees simply need to Check-In at the Airsoft 360 Bay when they are ready to compete.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

All event ticket sales are FINAL.  No refunds, no exceptions.

Our top priority is to execute a safe event for all attendees, vendors, and staff. Our core objective is to deliver an exceptional festival experience that far exceeds the price of our tickets. It takes almost one full year of planning and resources, and over 200 event and vendor staff to pull off the greatest Kalash event of the year. Your ticket purchase is greatly appreciated and we hope that our event continues to exceed your expectations.

Kalash Bash TX is an outdoor rain or shine event, and we have prepared tents and fixtures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience either way. That said, sometimes mother nature intervenes and events are forced to either cancel or reschedule.

If the event is cancelled: No action is required to obtain a refund, we will automatically issue a refund to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase.
If the event is postponed or rescheduled: Your ticket, including any upgrades, are still valid for the new date and no further action is required. If the event has been postponed for more than 60 days, and no rescheduled dates have been announced, we will automatically issue a refund to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase. We are not liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled event.
Ticket Transfers: All tickets are eligible for transfer until 5 days before the event, Monday April 6th, 2026.
